Pre season friendly vs L\'boro Athletic

Genesis 9 - 1 L'boro Athletic
1st game with the new gaffa, Dave radcliff in charge. It was hard to know what new team Athletic were going to be like, but missing a few players meant they were under strength. Genesis played a 3-5-2 in the first half and were 3-1 up at half time. We went to 4-4-2 in the second half and built on our lead and finished 9-1 winners. Ryan Patman scored 4 goals more than the whole of last season put together. Matt Strickland scored twice which were his first goals for the club. Sean Beale Jason Staples and Bartek also scored thier first goals for the club.
MoM went to Ryan Patman for a superb performance.
An encouraging performance but the real test starts this saturday with the first game of the season
