Genesis FC 3 - 5 Witherly Utd

For 70 mins Genesis played some of the best football of the season. despite giong 1-0 down, confidence was high and we soon got back in the game with a ball from Chris Ford and a finish from Straker. Chris Ford went on to set up two more goals finished by Patman and another from Straker. 3-1 and looking good. but Witherly started playing some long ball stuff which caught us out a couple of times. Witherly pounced and came back to 3-3. So extra time....ther was a mixture of confidence and tired legs. Witherly scored twice to finish our hopes off. A shame with such a great performance in the first 70mins. MoM went to Straker.
