Genesis 4 - 2 Loughborough FC

Stormy conditions at the fortress. Loughborough started well and went ahead after 20mins. Genesis had some good spells but was always going to be a battle into the wind. In the second half Loughborough went 2-0 up. Genesis continued to create good chances and the come back started when fordy got taken down for a penalty that Ian dispatched with ease. We got on level terms when Patman slotted home after a through ball from Fordy. Patman was also awarded a penalty which Fordy slotted home cooly. The icing on the cake was when Chris intercepted a ball at the back and went on to slot home past the keeper. What a come back, 4 goals in 30mins. A calss performance. Loughborough got frustrated and picked up a red and yellow, but Genesis kept battling hard and fair. MoM Alex Cuthbert.
