The first team turned up at Shepshed with 11 players to discover that there were already 2 teams on the pitch!! Hmmm - Our game was cancelled and shepshed had a cup game. So Upfold was straight on the phone to Heazle offering his services which were taken up and Upfold found himself in centre nid for the Res.

 

Genesis 2nd 0 - 5 Grenhill Y.M.C.

With a capacity crowd at Lodge Farm the Genesis FC lads struggled to stay focused. Grenhill played some really good football and Genesis struggled to keep the ball. When we did we created some good chances with Jon Daniels being unlucky not to snatch a couple of goals. Unfortuantely Grenhill were to strong and pulled away ending up winners 5 - 0. A debut for Chris Blount.
