Genesis 1 - 2 Shepshed Amateurs
A must win game if Genesis were to keep the pressure on at the top of the league. Genesis played really well, battled hard and created some good chances. Shepshed got a goal against the run of play with a corner that went right in the top corner. Genesis continued to play good football despite the bobbly surface. We equalised after Patman was brought down in the box. Jorge scored with a nice Pen. We continued to pile on the pressure and had some ood chances but were unable to score. Shepshed got a breakaway goal as Genesis were taking some risks to win the game. A dissapointing game where genesis were by far the better team. MoM went to Steve Straker for a great performance.
