After a couple of weeks off Genesis faced a very good Ingles team. Ingles were keen for revenge after we stole all 3 points in the last minutes of our previous encounter. Genesis started brighly and sustained the quality throughout the game. Genesis were unucky not to take the lead in the first 10 mins with 2 good chances. Genesis continued to create chances but it was still 0-0 at half time. Genesis continued to create chances but it was Ingles who too the lead after a counter attack and cool finish. Soon after Jorge poked a ball onto Chris Ford who finshed to equalise. Chris James then had a great chance blocked after some good play. Overall a very good Genesis performance and on another day could have won 5-1. MoM was Chris James.

 

A great Genesis performance gave Mountsorrel little chance. This was an important win that keeps Genesis in the Tom Onions cup. Goals from Matt Reed x2, Vinny Woodward, Jon Stanbridge and Michael Kaiser. MoM went to Sean Driscoll and Matt Reed.
