Genesis 1st Team
Melton BS 3-2
Continuing the Last two weekends games it was hot (25degrees). After negotiating with the British army and navigating our way through horse fields and dog kennles the team arrived with only 15 minutes to prepare. As a result and a quick bit of hole filling from Radcliffe and Meadwell Genesis were 1-0 down after 30 seconds. Genesis a woke and after about 3 mins were back level through a Ross Patman goal (first 4 the club), shall we start again lads. for the next half an hour geneis were totally out played by a well organised, strong melton team but managed to go in a half time 2-1 up through another Mikey Tyler indervidual master peice. With Geneis tired, but winning, the first 10 mins were as important as last week, sadly melton scored 2 quick goals in 5 mins and were up 3-2.Genesis slowly got back up to pace and had a few late shows on goal but nothing came from it. Euan Lockwoods fine proformance earn him the letter c prize of a box of 'cup a soup' well done Euan.
