Genesis 8 - 0 Markfield
Last game of the season and Genesis ended in style. Genesis dominated and played some great football against a poor Markfield side. Steve Straker ended with four goals, Jorge x2, Mark Niemz x1 and Ryan Patman x1. Markfield were poor and as frustration grew they ended up putting in silly challenges and comments. The Genesis spirit was class with players staying cool and not reacting. Steve Straker was MOM.
The end of a very good season. Despite a dissapointg end to the saeason Genesi should be proud of their performance. Many injuries and players away meant that it was going to be a struggle to keep the momentum right to the end.
Bring on next season - but maybe not yet, a few trps to meet all in the meantime.
