Genesis FC 1 - 0 Loughborough FC

Loughborough had more possession in the first half and were playing with the wind. We defended well and created some good chances. In the second half we had more of the ball and started to dominate the game. We created a few good chances but just couldn't find the net. With 1min to go Mike laid the ball off to Gary on the half way line. With little time left Gary hit it from 30 yards. The keeper caught the ball fine but as he came down he slipped and the ball rolled into the net. An unfortunate mistake but we welcomed the 3 points. Joe McSharry had a great game and was voted MoM

Genesis were 3-1 down with 20mins to go but Jon Daniels was on form and got his hat-trick. Assists came from Pete Carlill, Ross Patman and Chris Blount. Pete Carlill and Jon Daniles were voted MoM.
